The official UAE residency medical must be completed at a MOHAP-approved centre within the UAE and cannot be replaced by a UK medical. Our UK assessment provides a comprehensive pre-departure health check for employer HR purposes and ensures you are informed about your health status before travelling.

The UAE does not grant residence visas to individuals who test positive for HIV, active Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or certain other infectious diseases. If you have concerns about any of these conditions, please speak to us confidentially before booking.

Yes — a Chest X-ray is a mandatory component of the UAE residency medical to screen for Tuberculosis. At your appointment we will generate a referral letter so that you can take this to a private radiology department at a private hospital of your choice. The Chest X-ray typically costs between £75 and £90 and is not included in the medical fee.

Yes. Our examining doctor is FCDO-registered, which means he is legally authorised to attest and certify medical documentation for visa and immigration purposes in the United Kingdom. This is a key requirement for many visa applications, as the medical certificate may need to be submitted to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) for legalisation (apostille) before it is accepted by the relevant embassy or consulate. You can therefore be confident that any certificate we issue will meet the requirements of the embassy or immigration authority to which it is submitted.

Your final medical certificate will be issued once all relevant investigation results have been received. This includes blood test results from the laboratory and, where applicable, the results of a Chest X-ray (CXR). Where a Chest X-ray is required, we will provide you with a referral letter at your appointment so that you can attend a private radiology department at a private hospital of your choice. The certificate can only be issued once all results have been confirmed as satisfactory. Turnaround times depend on the specific laboratory and radiology provider used. We will keep you informed and updated at every stage of the process and aim to issue your certificate as promptly as possible once all results are to hand.
