Working at heights presents significant health and safety risks. MATS Medicals are designed to:

Under Health & Safety Legislation, employers must ensure their workers are medically fit for safety-critical roles, especially those working at heights. Regular medicals help:

✔ Prevent accidents caused by health conditions

✔ Demonstrate fitness to work in extreme conditions

✔ Fulfil employer duty of care obligations

To ensure ongoing health and fitness, assessments should be repeated as follows:

🔹 Under 40 – Every 3 years + annual surveillance questionnaire

🔹 40-49 – Every 2 years + annual surveillance questionnaire

🔹 50 & over – Annually
