GWO RUK Medicals assess the physical and mental well
being to ensure you’re prepared for the challenges of renewable energy roles and comply with industry requirements.

• We provide a full breakdown of your spirometer (lung function) and audiometer (hearing test results) as well as your clinical observations and can troubleshoot any particular health problems on the day. You will receive a copy of these results before you leave the clinic.
• Same Day Certificates are provided that are quick and hassle-free. There will be a certificate for GWO Fitness as well as for Climbing Duties.
Group Discounts and Onsite Services
There is a further £10 off per medical for bulk bookings of 5+ workers.
We can also come onsite to your location to conduct these medicals (minimum booking of 6 workers required for onsite).

What is involved in a GWO RUK Medical?
✅Pre-Health Questionnaire
✅Examination of vitals (Blood pressure, Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation, Respiratory Rate)
✅Musculoskeletal assessment
✅Cardiovascular examination (auscultation of the heart valves)
✅Respiratory Examination (auscultation of the lungs including lung spirometry)
✅Audiology Assessment
✅Urinalysis check (to rule out protein, blood, glucose)
✅Chester Step Test Examination
✅Subject to Employer Request Only:- Drug & Alcohol Testing (separate additional fee)
What do I need to bring to the medical appointment?
✅ Photo ID (Work ID, Drivers License or Passport)
✅ Completion of Pre-Health Questionnaire (To bring printed or physical copy).
✅ Prescription glasses.
✅ Details of any ongoing conditions.
How long is the GWO RUK Medical valid for?
Your Certificate will normally be valid for a maximum period of 2 years from Date of Issue. You will be handed a certificate towards the end of the appointment.
