Chain of Custody (COC) Laboratory Urine Drug Test - £195​

Here at Cherries Medical Clinic, we provide a service whereby the Occupational Physician will oversee any paperwork form requirements & requests for COC.

A chain of custody (COC) drug urine test carefully tracks the sample from collection to lab analysis using sealed containers and signed documentation. The sample is split, sealed and logged on a Chain of Custody Form at every handover to prevent tampering. This ensures results are accurate, legally defensible and traceable to the correct person.

Remember that with COC samples, it is integral that the urine sample is collected in a secure facility that is approved (we have affiliations with a lab site) with proof of your ID required at the time of your appointment.  

Urine samples for the purposes of COC cannot be collected at Cherries Medical Clinic on-site, due to the strict legal process required to collect, document & process the sample.

Our affiliated laboratory can perform a 17-drug urine sample assay with lab result available within 72hrs of the test at their South London Clinic Branch. These results can be issued to your employer with a cover letter for interpretation once received. These results would also be appropriate for legal reasons such as DVLA or TFL.
