If you are travelling abroad for education, work, or leisure, you may require a VISA medical examination depending on the country you are visiting. We offer comprehensive medical assessments for VISA applications and can accommodate the specific requirements of various countries.
The Doctor’s mandatory fee for this service is £175, which is competitive compared to others who charge £250 or more. This fee includes:
- Initial consultation and completion of all required forms
- A thorough clinical examination covering all A-Z requirements for the VISA medical
- Issuing private referral letters for chest X-rays, specialist consultations, or blood tests if needed
- Following up on test results and any specialist input required
- Final signatures on certificates or forms necessary for your VISA application
Please note, it is likely that the VISA medical will require two appointments:
- An initial one hour appointment for clinical examination, form completion, and generation of any private referral letters
- A follow-up 30 minutes appointment for review of test results and signing/issuing of final forms and certificates
The cost for both appointments is included in the Doctor’s mandatory fee.
Note: Follow-up appointment should only be booked upon discussion and discretion of the doctor once the first appointment has happened.

Generally, the total cost of a VISA medical could be around £600–£800, taking these factors into account.
