  • If you do wear glasses or contact lenses, then do please bring these along.

Are there any special precautions?

N.B Please note that we don’t provide vaccinations. It is important that for residency as well as Work VISA purposes in the State of Qatar, that you are up-to-date with Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and tetanus vaccines.

If you are British born, you would’ve most likely had a tetanus vaccination in your immunisation schedule – it is recommended that these are updated every 10 years.

You would’ve had a Hepatitis B vaccination if you  have either travelled to certain areas of Asia or Africa (i.e. Hajj pilgrimage) or you are a healthcare worker or your job involves the use of needles.

You may not have had a Hepatitis A vaccination, unless you specifically acquired this as a private travel vaccine whilst going abroad to Asia/African countries. Although this is definitely mandatory to have for food workers & handlers, it is highly recommended to have a Hepatitis A vaccine if you are attending the State for Work VISA or residency purposes.
